Impact - Kadam Badhate Chalo

I lost the game but I still won

Santosh is a young 15 year old boy from Kolegaon. He is in 10th standard now. He is always seen on the field playing sports. His father is a driver and mother is a domestic help. He likes playing so much that he bunks his school and goes to play with other boys in and around Dombivali. Although his parents are not supportive of his passion, this does not deter him. During the Kabaddi game, it was also noticed that as opposed to winning, he focused more on encouraging girls to play. In the KBC Sports Day Event, an expert noticed him and recognized his potential. He offered to coach him in sports free of cost.

Quote: “Hum hamesha dekhte hain ki ladkiyan sports me hamesha peeche hi rehti hai. Unhe aage aakar khelne ka mauka nahi milta. To ladkon ka yeh farz banta hai ki vo ladkiyon ko encourage karein”

(It is always seen that girls lag behind when it comes to playing sports. They do not get the chance to come forward and play. It is the responsibility of the boys to encourage girls to play.)
