Youth leaders immersed in the KBC journey for nearly a year will gather at the Martha Farrell Foundation headquarters in New Delhi to participate in Antargoonj. To be held over 3 days (22 to 24 April 2018), Antargoonj is a journey of deep reflection and learning.
In the 3 day workshop, these active young citizens will participate in self-reflection sessions, trying to break free from the inner turmoil of being 'boxed in'. They will experiment with self-expression using different forms of art. The workshop is also a learning space. On Day 2, participants will be exposed to the power of media and learn how to become citizen journalists using just a mobile phone and their courage. On the last day, the youth will learn to use poetry for storytelling and advocacy. As part of the session, they will come up with individual plans for lobbying and advocacy with governance institutions at the local level, to end violence against women and girls in their communities.
This workshop also gives KBC leaders to interact and share their stories of change and art work with Mr. Rizwan Adatia, Chairman and Founder of Rizwan Adatia Foundation.
